    fatuosity: The original Sydney Aquaporko! Fat Femme Synchronised Swim Team, featuring the inestimable Kelli Jean Drinkwater! I met Kelli Jean, Asha, and Scarlet at the Fat Studies conference in Sydney in 2010, and their presentation on Aquaporko and embodied activism was awe-inspiring! Gorgeous, fun, and full of life!  It’s the kind of activism that feeds my spirit rather than draining it, and I wanted in! So a bunch of us decided to create a Melbourne chapter of Aquaporko! We’re just starting back at our second season of training, and having an absolute ball!  It’s all silliness and noseclips and a bunch of us feeling unco and determined and amazing.
